As for the hanging sleeve - I would say "yes" - add one - better to have one and not use it - than to not have one and wish you had one available to use - if that makes sense. Binding - I would go with a solid navy or black - a lighter color might be distracting, I think - but you always choose the best one - so I'll wait to see what that is - ;))A Left-Handed Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5175671672721833449.post-18136580020986120132017-01-03T22:48:25.832-08:002017-01-03T22:48:25.832-08:00Maybe I need to re-word that comment. There, does that sound better and not quite so bossy ( for want of a more gentle word) ? Are you talking about the striped being a binding?
I have learned not to use stripes on borders, I always do them wonky, lol. I like the solid blue, so I wouldn't put anything too busy that would distract.

DebbieWoolenSailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08621977477193550261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5175671672721833449.post-76052398094516505992017-01-03T20:18:51.501-08:002017-01-03T20:18:51.501-08:00A per usual you have made a beautiful quilt. The border of course ties all together and I would go for a plain binding, the blue of the back would be good.
Happy new year, happy quilting!Queeniepatchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13281330411053716603noreply@blogger.com
